More on Setting Goals – A Sample!

I got a comment that my post on goal setting seemed pretty complicated! It need not be! At the risk of suffering some personal embarrassment, I present to you the first set of goals I developed for myself before the start of the 2019 shooting season. Note that I did not adhere strictly to all the rules – and you don’t have to either! These are your goals! Do what works for you. More importantly, write them down and keep them someplace where you can refer to them often. Don’t be afraid to revise them as you go if conditions change – they are a tool for you to use. I do strongly suggest that before you begin writing them down, take a few minutes to ask yourself why you participate in your chosen sport, and what you hope to gain out of it. This will provide a framework to develop relevant goals for your specific situation. Without further ado, here are my goals as promised! Feel free to drop me an email with comments or questions.
