Happy First Birthday to the Mental Skills Training Blog!

It’s hard to believe that it has been a year since the blog first came to life!  I have thoroughly enjoyed putting together posts and discussing them with many of you!

Let’s look at some of the numbers!

Total number of posts published ………. 48 posts

Total number of visitors ……………………. 1124 visitors

Total number of page views ……………… 3567 views

Most views in a single day ………………… 133 views (thanks Grace! – your post went viral when you posted it to your social media!)

I found the top 5 post interesting.  Here they are in order:

  1. Meet Grace Callahan – Pro Sporting Clays Shooter (see the post HERE)
  2. Two Hours with Brian DeMott (see the post HERE)
  3. Performance Logging your way to Success! (see the post HERE)
  4. The Wonder Woman Pose (see the post HERE)
  5. NC Shooter’s Meteoric Rise from D-Class to Master Class in 17 Months! (see the post HERE)

There is a common thread on four of the posts – 1,2,3, and 5 contain interviews with successful shooters!  No doubt we like to read about the methods and successes of others that are engaged in the same activities we are.

I would like to just take a moment and thank all of the readers of the blog for taking time out of your day to read the materials posted.  I would also like to thanks those of you that have contributed in some manner!  The list is very long and the help very much appreciated!  I look forward to an exciting year #2!  As always, please feel free to contact me with suggestions and comments!

Finally, I would like to end on a humorous note courtesy of writer / cartoonist Dana Summers:
